Adler, with a sly grin, said, “Remember when he’d ignore me if I asked for a document? Now, his wife tells him to manage the company, and he’s all in!”
“Well, they are married, after all.”
Jenna then turned to Colby, “Hey Colby, Grandpa’s still not done planning the wedding. He insists on having the ceremony first, then the registration. He wants it to be grand. That’s how the Costello family shows its respect.”
Colby sighed, “I just want to get the registration over with. He needs to hurry up, or I’ll take over the wedding planning myself.”
“No way! Grandpa’s been looking forward to this. If you take it away from him, he might throw a fit in public, and he’s seventy! You really wanna risk that?”
Colby felt a headache coming on. He shouldn’t have let Grandpa handle the wedding plans in the first place. Now, the wedding plans were holding up the registration.
Sophie reassured him, “Relax. We’ve got a lot on our plate right now. Do you really think we won’t make it to the wedding day?”
“It’s different. I’ll handle it myself and make sure you have the wedding of the century.”
Sophie’s face lit up with a smile at Colby’s words.
The romantic atmosphere between them, as if surrounded by floating pink bubbles, was too much for Jenna. She finally said, “Should we leave you two lovebirds alone?”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
