Sophie glanced at the business card in her hand before parking her limited edition sports car by the curb. The flashy pink car stood out like a sore thumb on this street.

"Miss, are you new here? What service are you interested in?" The manager herself walked up to Sophie, unable to resist giving her the once-over. Sophie removed her sunglasses, revealing a pair of mesmerizing eyes that left the female manager momentarily stunned.

"A friend recommended this place. I heard you have some great beauty treatments, so I thought I'd give it a try," Sophie said, lounging on the sofa and casually picking up a brochure from the table.
At that moment, the diamond ring on her hand—practically the size of a pigeon's egg—caught everyone's eye. Not to mention the seven-figure diamond watch on her wrist.
The manager gasped. Who wears the equivalent of a house on their wrist?
Noticing everyone's gaze, Sophie feigned confusion. "Is something wrong?"
"We're just admiring how beautiful you are. We've had some celebrities come in, but none of them had skin as flawless as yours."
Sophie offered a slight smile. This cosmetic clinic was pretty famous in high society, being part of the Minton Group’s beauty empire. With so many celebrities under the Minton banner, it made sense to promote their own clinic.
Sophie's ostentatious display was all part of her plan to elevate her status, ensuring the staff would treat her with the utmost care. That way, she could easily get the information she was after.
"Let's start with a facial. If I'm not satisfied, I won't be coming back."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free.
