"What? I've waited for her for a long time. How could she just leave? What an arrogant woman!"
"Dad, Emma has changed a lot."
"Damn it! Like mother, like son."
The Old Riley went ballistic.
When Sophia arrived home, she didn't see the bodyguards or Emma. Also, there was no trace in the house that there had been a fight.
It meant Emma had actively gone out, followed by her bodyguards.
Sophia didn't think there would be any problem. Somehow, she had a bad hunch, afraid Emma would be in danger.
She called Drake and told him his mother and bodyguards were gone when the call was connected.
Drake said thoughtfully, "If there wasn't anything necessary, my mother wouldn't have gone out."
Sophia also thought so. Emma would never do anything to worry others. She was wise enough to know the proper things to do.
Suddenly, she realized something and remarked, "She might have received a call from someone who made her relax her vigilance, so she went out to meet the person."
If so, Emma was probably in danger.
"I'm calling her now."
"OK. Go ahead. Keep me updated."
After ending the call, Sophia wasn't in the mood to do anything at all, worried about Emma.
In less than two minutes, Drake called her, "Sophia, my mother was kidnapped by Olivia's men."
"Where is she now? I'll go to rescue her."
"No need. I can handle it."
"No way! I cannot stay home and wait without doing anything. Olivia captured Ms. Glass for the evidence. Let me go there. I can help you."
Her words made sense.
"OK." Drake gave her the address.
Sophia hurriedly sat in her car, heading for Emma's location.
On the other hand, Olivia called Drake and said triumphantly, "Drake, you are a smart man. You should know what to do now."
"Let go of my mother."
Drake was so furious that Olivia hurt his mother.
Whoever hurt his mother crossed his line and would be doomed.
"I can release her. Show me what I want."
Drake sneered, "Do you think I won't have any other way to prove you've set up Sophia without the evidence?"
Olivia knew she must be alert and fully prepared when fighting against a man like Drake.
"Don't you want to see your mother anymore?"
"Think I'll be threatened by you, huh?"
Olivia bit her lip tightly, wondering when she had lost control of Drake.
After she married into the Riley family, she could tell Drake was competent. Over the years, she tried to control him.
Drake looked obedient, but gradually, she lost control of him.
"Aren't you afraid she'll be hurt?"
