Bard would jump up from his wheelchair if he was able to do it, "Mrs. Greenspan, that's outrageous! My sister has agreed to all your unequal requirement. How can you say such words? Are you trying irritating the Lawson family?"
"I'm simply stating a fact!"
"You!" As Bard was about to talk back, Sophia stopped him.
"Mrs. Greenspan, please rest assured that I won't develop sexual relationship with Noah but only take good care of him."
"Humph!" Mrs. Greenspan threw a glance at Sophia, seemingly that she didn't want to see Sophia anymore.
Drake's fists had clenched tightly. How could that woman insult his beloved?
Mrs. Greenspan went to see Noah after she was allowed by the doctor.
Then, Sophia followed Bard into his ward.
Bard felt sorry and said, "Sophia, it's all my fault. If I had been a bit more vigilant, such a thing would have never happened."
Sophia didn't want him to be worried and smiled, "It's OK. Let it be. What you should do now is to investigate who did harm to you."
When they mentioned this, Bard clenched his fists, "Damn it, I won't let go of the guy! He'll be doomed!"
Bard experienced so many business wars abroad which had made him change a lot.
He was more masculine and maturer.
Although he got a sense of cruelty, Sophia didn't think it was bad for him since one was always at risk when he earned a livelihood in the society.
When Mrs. Greenspan walked out of the ward, she almost passed out. Before, she just heard that Noah got into trouble, but she never expected that his condition could be so bad.
And she hated Sophia to death.
"Mrs. Greenspan, let's get there and take a rest!"
"Well!"
At present, Mrs. Greenspan could do nothing for Noah. He could only struggle on his own.
As she had taken merely a few steps, a man with a powerful vibe showed up in front of her.
Mrs. Greenspan was overwhelmed by such pressure. She raised her head slowly and looked up at the man.
"Mrs. Greenspan!"
The air around Drake was frosty.
Subconsciously, Mrs. Greenspan gripped her clothes.
"I saw what you did to Sophia today. The Lawson family may not speak such words, but I can."
"In fact, Noah didn't have to go there to save Bard. He could tell Travis in the phone who would deal with it. And you should know why your son still did so."
"Cut to the chase, he wanted to get Sophia's attention in this way."
Mrs. Greenspan was not able to disprove it since what Drake said was the truth.
"In this event, Sophia is the most innocent person, but she didn't complain. She was willing to break up with me and look after Noah."
"Mrs. Greenspan, I respect that because it's Sophia's choice. But... if you still pick on her, then I'll give you a problem!"
At this moment, Drake showed such regal dignity which was really oppressive.
Drake had had his say. He knew it was time for him to leave. After all, his presence would make Sophia more painful.
Yes, he had figured it out. If it was Sophia's choice, what he could do was to respect it. If there was one day... one day Sophia could get back to him... that would be the best!
