Mrs. Duncan said reluctantly, "Oh, I hate to say goodbye to you guys. But we will go to Pinkerton in three days, so see you then."
"Mom!"
Chloe threw herself on Mrs. Thomas and hugged her tightly.
Although she had been working here, she didn't think feel like being separated from her parents. Now she felt that way after getting married.
Mrs. Thomas patted her back lightly, "You are a big girl now. Don't cry like a baby!"
Chloe refused to let go until quite a while later.
Although Emma didn't talk about the child with the Lawson family, just like Drake, she wanted to meet the child no matter what.
So, when they were about to leave, Emma walked up to Laura.
"Laura, we don't blame you for hiding the child from us. After all, you have your own reasons to do so, but since we know about it, I wanna go over with you to look at her."
Laura subconsciously looked at Sophia.
Although everyone knew that Sophia could not refuse Emma, they wanted to hear her opinion about it.
"Ms. Glass, are you planning to go with us now?"
"Yes, I've been very excited after knowing about the child. I can't wait to see my granddaughter."
"Sophia, please, you won't refuse, will you?"
What Emma said made Sophia feel uncomfortable.
"Of course not. Ms. Glass, let's go then!"
"I also want to go!"
Aria couldn't wait to see her niece. She was sure the girl would be cute.
Sophia looked at Drake. Since they were both going, she believed Drake would go there too.
"Mom! Their plane can't accommodate so many people. I've had the plane ready. We can go there at any time."
Drake was as efficient as usual.
Emma smiled and nodded, "Okay, Sophia, we will follow you guys."
Sophia and her family got on the plane.
On the way, Helena held her hand all the time.
Sophia smiled lightly, "Helena, don't worry. I knew Drake will find out about the child sooner or later. I can't hide it from him forever."
At that time, what she thought about was to keep the secret from Drake as long as possible.
She also knew Drake would want to take her daughter away once he saw her, but she didn't want to part with her daughter yet.
"Sophia, what are your plans?"
"No matter how Ms. Glass persuade me, I won't let them take my child away. Bonnie is mine. I will never separate from her."
Sophia had made up her mind, so Helena couldn't say much. If the Riley family refused to give in, they might end up in court.
Sophia wouldn't want to face her old lover and teacher in court.
"Sophia, no matter what you do, you have our back!"
