Travis seemed to enjoy bantering her. He pressed her cheek against his chest. "Okay, I'll wait until you're done."
Helena was speechless.
She felt soon she wouldn't be able to get out of bed again.
When they arrived at the place, her agent said angrily, "My lady, you are finally here. If you don't come, I don't know what to do..."
Before she finished speaking, she noticed the terrifying way Travis looked at her.
The agent immediately pulled Helena over and asked in a low voice, "Why is Mr. Lawson here?"
"We're married. Can't he come with me?"
"The point is, I remember you want to keep this matter from the public? It's no good for your career."
"I've changed my mind."
Helena's thought startled her agent. "What did you say?"
"I said I've changed my mind."
The agent stretched out her hand and placed it on Helena's forehead. "You are not having a fever. Why did you say that?"
"I know many of my fans can't accept the fact that I am married, but I am married. Deceiving them is not a good idea. I think I should tell them at the right time."
"Gosh! Helena, do you know how many fans you'll lose because of that?"
"It's not the first time that I have lost fans. Worst case scenario, I'll just quit showbiz and work for my family business."
The agent couldn't say anything else.
And Travis was from the Lawson family. Helena's agent couldn't afford to offend him either.
They went to meet their partner. When the other party saw Helena, he reached out his hand. "Ms. Warburg, I'm glad to meet you!"
The moment Travis looked at the man, his face darkened.
The agent, standing beside him, noticed this change.
The agent couldn't figure out whether Travis liked Helena or not either. But now she could tell that he was madly in love with Helena.
The partner was Tony Fulton. He and Travis knew each other. Sensing the cold gaze, Tony looked over and saw Travis.
"Mr. Lawson? What brings you here?"
Travis walked to Helena and held her in his arms. "I'm here to accompany my wife. Is there any problem?"
Helena looked up at him in astonishment. Was he being jealous?
Tony was surprised. "You..."
Helena had been conquered by Travis in bed these days. So, with a smile, she introduced him, "Yup, we have gotten married, although we haven't held a wedding."
Tony looked at the two people back and forth. From the outsiders' point of view, the two people didn't match at all. They didn't look like they would get married.
But they were married.
"I hope the work can be done as soon as possible. We've got things to do later," Travis said. He didn't like the way other men looked at his wife.
Tony was a little bit upset. He took Helena inside to put on makeup.
When Helena's agent was about to follow, Travis asked, "As the owner of such a big company, why would he receive artists himself?"
Damn! He was jealous.
