Sophia had been used to him being so childish. She didn't take it to the heart and said, "Bonnie, have your breakfast. And the driver will send you to your grandma's place after that. He will go and pick you home in the evening every day."
Bonnie jumped up in excitement, "That's great! I can finally see Mommy and Papa every day!"
Drake had been jealous just now, but when he saw how adorable Bonnie was, he couldn't get jealous anymore.
Kids were really magical beings.
But since they were going to sleep in the same room every night from now on, Drake thought of something and whispered in Bonnie's ear while Sophia was away.
"Bonnie, do you want a little sister or a little brother?"
Bonnie tilted her head, "I do. I want a sister or brother to play with."
Although the adults all loved her, they were not children after all. She wanted a playmate.
"Well, in that case, I have something to talk to you about..."
When Sophia came over, the two were whispering something. The smile on Drake's face was strange. It was as if he had just finished something big.
"What are you talking about?"
"Nothing!"
Drake was really in a good mood.
Seeing that he didn't want to tell her, Sophia did not ask. After Bonnie got into the car, they went to work.
When Drake arrived at the company, everyone felt that he was happy today. They were also in a good mood seeing him so happy. After all, Drake usually had a poker face before.
Many people speculated that Drake's good mood may be related to his recent marriage.
Paul walked over, "Sir, Ms. Stein wants to see you."
"I'm not seeing her."
He was a married man now. He shouldn't see another woman alone.
"She came here on behalf of Stein Group. She should be here to talk to you about the cooperation."
Drake had wanted to refuse but changed his mind in the end, "Let her in then."
Molly had waited outside for a long time, and she didn't know since when she needed to make an appointment to meet Drake.
She was wondering if Drake would reject seeing her.
He wouldn't do so for the sake of the friendship between the two families, right?
Paul soon came and invited her in.
Molly proudly walked inside, and said, "You'd better hope I wouldn't find out that it was you who kept me waiting out there for such a long time."
Paul touched his nose. What did it have to do with him? He was only a messenger.
As soon as Molly saw Drake, she rushed over at him. "Drake, your assistant kept me out there waiting for a long while."
Drake subconsciously kept a distance from her, "Molly, stop there."
Molly bit her lip. Though she didn't want to admit it, some things were indeed different now.
Before, even if he didn't like her being close to him, he wouldn't reject her. And now, was he trying to be a good husband for Sophia Lawson?
"I was the one who didn't want to let you in. It has nothing to do with Paul."
Molly looked at him strangely. "Why? Drake, can't we even be friends after you got married?"
