Chapter 507 A Flying Bullet
Molly, who also knew about the animals in the back hills, was so frightened that she almost fainted.
Before she died, she cried out, "Drake, I can tell you a secret. Why I did these things is actually ..."
Before the last words were finished, a bullet from outside hit Molly on the head.
Drake hugged Sophia in an unconscious attempt to protect her from being hurt.
The others also dodged.
When he recovered himself, Drake ordered, "Go find him; he must be nearby!"
"Yes!"
Arlo stood there confused.
He had thought that Molly would definitely die today, but he hadn't expected her to leave like this.
Who else was behind this?
And what did she know?
"Check her phone!" Something occurred to Sophia all of a sudden.
Drake picked up Molly's phone and searched for something carefully. But there was no special message in it.
Sophia grabbed it from his hand and found nothing special.
"I suppose that someone has hacked into her phone long ago and erased all the traces."
"I'll go find the technical department and see if we can recover some data."
"Great!"
That was all that could be done for now.
Arlo looked at Molly and sighed. "Mr. Riley and Mrs. Riley, I have a presumptuous request. I wonder if you might grant it?"
Drake glanced at him and said, "You can take her away!"
Molly was already dead, and Drake was not willing to dispose of her body.
"Thanks for your permission."
Molly was taken over by him before, but now she had died in front of him.
He wanted to take the rights back from Molly though, he was her uncle, and he felt bad when she died.
Arlo picked her up.
Sophia said, "Mr. Stein, what I promised you before, I will definitely keep my word."
"That'll be great, thank you." And then he left.
The news of Molly's death spread out quickly. Hearing that, the Old Riley fainted several times. Were it not for the doctors around him, he would probably have to be gone with Molly.
In the end, he accepted the fact. He knew that Molly had done a lot of things before, and that she seemed to have colluded with someone, all of which had led to this consequence.
Although the Old Stein was angry with Arlo, but he was still his own son. He said, "Think about how to regain the control over the company yourself. If you can do it, the company will be yours, and if you can't, there's nothing I can do."
"Yes, Dad, I am sure that the company will definitely be mine again."
Before, when Molly hadn't taken over the family business, it had all been run by Arlo. So it was easy for him to get it back now.
"But there's one thing you must find out as soon as possible. You have to find out who she's been in contact with, and who the hell killed her!"
"Yes!"
Although Arlo agreed, he knew that that murderer would not let him find out at all.
When he had someone keep an eye on Molly before, he knew that there was such a mastermind behind Molly. But that mastermind was so cunning that whenever Arlo followed him, he always knew.
At first, Arlo was worried that all his efforts would be in vain if that mastermind told Molly about these things.
Only later did he realize that that mastermind seemed to have a careful plan and it didn't matter whether Molly was lived or not.
It was also because of it that he could successfully complete these things.
As for that person, he would not care if the Stein family was not harmed.
Molly's death was still a headache for Sophia and Drake. For once she was gone, they hit a dead end again.
Who exactly was in contact with her, and what exactly did that person want?
Sophia looked at Drake and said, "Drake, it looks like we still have a lot of enemies around us!"
"Of course, they are always around us."
Excellent people like them were more likely to be envied and against by others.
"No matter who he is, we will find him out."
Sophia was confident enough.
Drake kissed her. "I will handle this, and you can take a good rest."
Indeed, Sophia was tired.
Then Paul came over and reported, "Mr. Riley, he's a good hacker and all the data has been destroyed."
"Destroyed?" Drake smiled, "Then it means this guy is so afraid that we might know something. Is it possible that he is someone we know?"
'Someone we know?'
Then Sophia thought of Rashad Witt.
Of all the people she knew, he was the most excellent hacker.
But it didn't make sense. Why did he and Molly have a connection, and what did they want?
Obviously, Drake also thought of the same one.
"Keep an eye on Rashad and tell anything about him."
"Yes!"
Before Paul left, he handed something in his hand to Drake.
He took a look at it and handed it to Sophia.
"Your previous phone is broken. I prepare a new phone for you. The phone numbers have been transferred to the new one, and the other data has also been transferred by the technical department."
Sophia took it and turned on the phone. Indeed, except for the outlook, others were similar to those in the previous one.
There was nothing important on her mobile phone, as she was unlikely to store important data on it. If she did, it would be in an email or on more secure websites.
So, even if the phone was lost, she was not afraid of losing some real customer information.
Bonnie had left the room. She had not witnessed what had happened outside, as the maids were in the room playing with her.
Seeing the new cell phone in her mother's hand, Bonnie said unhappily, "Mommy, how come Papa is so good to you? He bought you gifts again!"
Drake smiled and hugged her, "So, are you jealous?"
"Can't I be jealous?" Her little mouth was pouting, and that was so cute.
Drake stroked her nose, "Of course you can. Look, what is this?"
Bonnie saw a phone with a case with Princess Elsa on it, and a smile appeared on her little face.
"Papa, is this the phone you give to me?"
"Yes, how could I forget my little princess?"
Bonnie took it and turned it over and over lovingly. "Bonnie likes it. Bonnie likes Princess Elsa the most."
"You get a phone though, but you can't use it too much, got it?"
"Mm-hmm!"
Bonnie nodded again and again.
Bonnie was still a child. After she owned a new phone, all that annoyed her was instantly out of her mind.
