Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 155

Alicia paused, recalling Molly’s cardinal rule of being a sugar baby: Never meet another man in secret behind your benefactor’s back.

Your patron would get angry—displeased, uncomfortable, maybe even jealous.

Still, the girl they were talking about had just graduated high school, which was definitely something worth celebrating. So Alicia sent a message to Tyrone: “Vincent sponsored a young girl four years ago. She’s just finished her exams—can I go with him to see her?”

No reply from Tyrone.

Alicia felt a pang of disappointment. He was probably busy.

“Tyrone doesn’t have time for you right now,” Vincent chimed in, his tone laced with sarcasm. The jealousy in his voice was obvious.

“Just send me the address,” Alicia replied coolly. “I’ll go on my own. I’m not riding in your car.”

Vincent felt a stabbing annoyance in his chest. He never took Alicia and Tyrone’s marriage seriously anyway; the divorce was inevitable, and he’d always seen it as Alicia indulging in some childish game.

But now, Alicia seemed determined to irritate him at every turn.

Her careful effort to keep her distance—she was clearly doing it on purpose, just to get under his skin.

Vincent swallowed his frustration. He didn’t want to push her away. “Fine. Add me back on WhatsApp and text, and I’ll send you the location.”

Alicia considered for a second. “No.”

Vincent let out a short, incredulous laugh.

He’d always known Alicia was stubborn, but this was a new level.

“You really want to draw the line that clearly? You say you don’t love me anymore, but then why does it matter if you’ve blocked me? If you truly didn’t care, you wouldn’t bother either way,” Vincent said, trying to provoke her.

Alicia stayed silent.

Vincent sighed and continued, “I’m heading over now. Don’t keep the girl waiting. I’ll send you a friend request—just accept it.”

Without giving her a chance to refuse, Vincent got in his car and drove off.
