Seeing as Nicole wasn’t elaborating, Colton didn’t insist either, and his face eased into a smile. “The trial’s tomorrow. You should have a good rest tonight.”

Nicole lowered her gaze and nodded.

She was about to leave when she suddenly remembered something. Stopping abruptly, she turned to look at Colton, then hesitated and thought for a while before asking, “President Gardner, if this matter involves Queenie, should we continue?”
