After sobbing for a while, Whitney took out her phone and searched for Nicole’s phone number. Now that Aaron was not the company’s representative, he would not need to stay in prison even if the household registration remained. Whitney didn’t know how to answer her. After some time, she drawled, “I don’t want to intervene in his family, Nicole. Now that Aaron is fine, I want to disappear from Douglas’ life. I don’t want to be a third-wheeler.”

“Okay, Whitney. Just go back. I will handle Douglas’ matter, so don’t worry.” Nicole comforted her as she knew Whitney. After all, Whitney was by her side for a long time.

Listening to her words, Whitney choked on her sobs and thanked her softly. “Thank you, Nicole,” she whispered.
