Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1358

Penny and everyone present collectively looked in the direction of the backseat of the Hongqi. A well-built figure with eyes shining like stars got off the car nonchalantly. He was dressed in a white military uniform with gold stripes. It was the General's uniform.

It's Nathan!

Penny's eyes widened. Everyone was staring at Nathan's military uniform in shock.

Their gaze fell on Nathan's shoulder and they saw the golden national emblem and a sword on it.

Everyone couldn't help but draw in a deep breath. Could Nathan be...

That was when all of the officers and soldiers, including Russell, Patrick, Franklin, and the others presented a military salute, "Greetings, General!"

General!

Penny was shocked.

Sean was shocked.

Even Benson and Leah were shocked.

Ferlyn and the rest of The Smiths were flabbergasted. All of those who were present and didn't know about Nathan's identity gaped at the sight of him.

Queenie, who was held by Leah, clapped and shouted with her face red with excitement, "Papa's so handsome!"

Penny quickly regained her senses when she heard her daughter's words.

She stood rooted on her spot as she stared at Nathan. There were tenderness and happiness in her eyes, but there was also accusation and resentment.

Nathan walked towards Penny as they fixed their gazes on each other.

Penny stared at Nathan's tenacious yet gentle eyes. After staying strong for the past few days, she couldn't help it as tears fell.

Nathan panicked upon the sight of her. He quickly took her in his embrace and comforted her, "Don't cry! It's our wedding day today!”

Penny reached out to hit Nathan and said with a voice that was somehow filled with happiness and reproach, "What have you been doing these days? Why didn't you tell me anything? I've been so worried. And why are they calling you the General? What else are you hiding from me?"

Nathan answered softly, "I've always been the General of the North. I told you about it previously but you didn't believe me!"
