Sirens suddenly blared outside the Crystal Hotel.
More than ten cop cars showed up and stopped in front of Crystal Hotel's lobby. A bunch of police officers got out.
The passers-by couldn't help pointing and gossiping about the matter. They wondered what had happened, and why that many police officers had gathered.
Glen got out of one of those cars with a grim expression on.
At the same time, an Audi was parked at the side. Freddy gracefully got out of the car.
Glen was looking grim a moment ago, but that scowl turned into a respectful grin when he saw his brother there. He quickly went over and
greeted, “Freddy!”
Freddy nodded and replied, “Hmm.”
Glen couldn't help asking, “What's going on, Freddy? Why are we being called to deal with a regular fight? Wouldn't it be sufficient to just send a few men over?”
Freddy shook his head and answered, “Dennis Turner called and asked for my help. It's likely he got into some trouble with a skilled fighter. I was having my meal in the area, anyway, so I came over to see what's going on. Let's head in.”
Glen replied, “Okay.”
The two of them led a bunch of police officers and walked straight into the hotel.
They only noticed that the place was packed after they had gotten inside. Aside from the
hotel employees, three other parties were present.
Glen held a high rank in the police department, whereas Tyranno was a rather powerful gangster in the area.
Hence, Glen recognized Tyranno. The former was upset and demanded, “Why are you here, Ty?
Are you involved in this matter?”
Glen was a cop, and Tyranno was a thug.
Hence, Tyranno instinctively lowered his stance when he saw Glen there. The former quickly shook his hands and clarified, “No, not at all. This has nothing to do with me. I was just passing by-Yep, definitely just passing by.”
Seeing the Loran brothers there got Dennis to regain his confidence and straighten his back once more. His fearlessness was renewed.
Dennis walked over and shouted at Tyranno, “Like hell you are, you f*cker! I called you over to help me out, but you slapped me on behalf of the outsider instead. How dare you claim to have nothing to do with this?”
Tyranno couldn't refute that. He simply had his head down awkwardly.
“Mr. Turner, what's going on here?” asked Freddy while frowning.
