“Alright then,” Sophia giggled. “If it's a secret, I won't put you in a position to divulge it.”
“Mr. Khaiden, I happen to know a coffee house not far from here with a nice atmosphere. Let me buy you a cup of coffee for bumping into you earlier.”
Raida was ecstatic. That fortune-teller is a fluke. He told me I would run into catastrophic disasters by coming to Brimmopolis. Right now it seems like my luck is just beginning.
“I would be delighted to accept, Ms. Davier.” He bowed.
Each bearing an ulterior motive, they reciprocated the courtesy and flirtation that each received.
With two of his bodyguards, Raida escorted Sophia out of the suit shop.
He was shocked speechless to learn that the red Ferrari parked outside cost twenty million.
This girl really is something. And her family is filthy rich. I have to play my cards right and seduce her. My future will be set for life by marrying into the Davier family.
He has already confirmed that she really was a Davier.
With increasingly charming and flirtatious conversations, they arrived at Chronosphere, the coffee house that Sophia had in mind.
With their guards, they entered and seated themselves.
Raida was about to ask Sophia about what she would like to drink, but he noticed an odd expression upon her face.
He started and followed her gaze.
Not too far away, another couple was seated. He recognized them as Nathan and Kylie.
Turns out, they had the same idea to come here for a drink after paying at the suit shop.
They too did not expect to run into Raida and Sophia here.
What an unfortunate coincidence!
Raida was initially surprised to see them here, but that surprise turned quickly into cold hatred as Kylie's insult replayed vividly in his ears.
Sophia was startled by the intensity of his gaze at the couple. “Mr. Khaiden, do you know them?”
she whispered.
