Everyone was surprised.
Benson and Leah called out with relief, “Nathan!”
Nathan and Penny had planned to eat out for lunch.
But he had felt apologetic for his parents-in-law, worried they would feel lonely by eating at home with just the two of them.
When he was making his order, the server had recommended fish soup as a healthy dish for the weak and elderly.
Hence, Nathan specifically ordered one to take away for them.
He didn't expect to see a subordinate of Bowen's landing a punch on Benson's face while the others were restraining Leah in front of their house.
Bowen narrowed his eyes and scrutinized Nathan up and down.
“Hey, brat. You're that Nathan who kept targeting the Camden family?”
Nathan didn't spare Bowen a glance. He merely stared at the bearded man, grabbing Benson's collar. “You better let him go right now, or you will
regret it.”
His voice had indeed surprised the bearded man.
However, the latter snapped out of his stunned state.
He smirked arrogantly, seeing Nathan was alone while he had his boss and other hired fighters on his side.
“Me, regret? I don't think so.”
He continued to slam down his fist at his target as a warning to Nathan.
His fist didn't connect to Benson's face. In a blink of an eye, Nathan had appeared in front of him like a ghost.
What?That's scary fast!
The bearded man was horrified at his speed.
In mere seconds, Nathan had already grasped the bearded man's fist.
