Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2297

No one could change Nathan's mind once he made a decision.

All Tim could do was follow Nathan's order.

Despite that, Tim didn't ask Nathan to continue staying in the War Dragon Chamber. After all, he didn't exactly have the best reputation right now, and Nathan was Eurasia's God of War. If word got out that he was staying in the War Dragon Chamber, it would definitely be a negative influence.

Hence, Tim arranged for Nathan to stay injazona Grand Hotel, which was right next to the War Dragon Chamber.

Even though Nathan was staying in a hotel, he didn't ease his grip on Tim. He dragged Tim over for every single meal and even required him to report to Nathan every single morning.

He wanted to prove that the so-called 'Lone Star' was simply a nickname and nothing else.

Apart from that, his end goal was to get rid of Tim's worries and get him back into the team.

After their meal, he asked Tim, “You're more familiar with Jazona than I am. Are there any fun places you can take us to around here?”

Tim introduced a couple of popular tourist spots, but Nathan didn't seem enthused. “Jetroina has always been better than Eurasia at wrestling and fighting competitions. I know there are plenty of interesting fighting competitions held here, and I also know that the underground fighting scene here is especially fascinating.”

“There's an underground battle tonight at Clearwater Shrine. Would you like to go watch, Mr. Cross?”

As per Nathan's request, Tim only called him Mr. Cross now compared to General like he had before.

Nathan was pretty curious about the Jetroinian fighting scene. How exactly did Jetroina compare to Eurasia when it came to fighting?

With a smile, he replied, “Okay, let's go see how good they actually are. It's good to know where our rivals are as far as skill is concerned.”

Nathan, Penny, Colin, and Ava arrived at the famous Clearwater Shrine along with Tim.

It was a famous scenery spot, but it was also a famous underground fighting ring. However, it wasn't accessible by just anybody who fought if they didn't have connections on the inside.

Nathan and the others had only just walked into Clearwater Shrine when a team of Jetroinian men clothed in black appeared to block them from going further.

An arrogant-looking man with silver hair and ear piercings stared at Tim coldly and said in poor English, “Lone Star, what are you doing on our territory yet again? You should have stayed where you belong. Are you trying to invade yet again?”

Apparently, this territory was owned by the Dagger Gang.
