Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2298

Tetsuo looked at Nathan like he was a fool and said, “Please follow me inside.”

Soon enough, Nathan and the others arrived at the underground fighting ring that was well hidden in the Clearwater Shrine under Tetsuo's guidance.

There were already more than a thousand people in the audience seat surrounding the ring.

Most of them were from Jetroina, although there were a few Eurasians and people from other countries scattered among the audience.

Most of them were dressed extremely neatly, in various branded tuxedos and expensive watches. They looked like every stereotype of a rich businessman that ever existed.

Most of them also had a beautiful girl hanging in their arm.

They had glasses of wine in their hands and were holding onto their tickets while discussing their picks which would make the most money tonight.

Over here, not only could the rich witness the sanguinary event in the name of sport, they could even bet on the odds.

To them, this was an extremely exciting trip.

Tetsuo glanced at Nathan and the others and said ambiguously, “The next round will be the Black Mamba from Astoria against our champion, Kitsune. Black Mamba won eight to one back in Ariarica, and he purposely came to Jetroina to challenge our fighters. Kitsune is our champion who's won twenty out of twenty of the battles he’s fought.

Apart from that, he's killed thirteen of his opponents. There are ten times more bets on Black Mamba than

Kitsune. Would you like to bet on anyone, Mr. Cross?”

Mildly, Nathan replied, "I'll observe first.”

Tetsuo had assumed that a rich heir like Nathan would have bet on Black Mamba right away and looked down upon Kitsune's low rate.

He was rather disappointed to know that Nathan wasn't rushing to bet on anything.

Still, he couldn't care less. He had already gotten everything sorted out. Since Nathan was here on his turf, Tetsuo already decided that he wouldn't let them leave without having to pay a hefty sum.

He was even considering whether he should get rid of Tim and took over all of his territories.

The competition had already begun.

Black Mamba was engaged in a fight with Kitsune in the ring.

As a veteran in the underground fighting scene, Black Mamba was extremely powerful and well-experienced. However, because he was so strong and bulky, his movements were slightly less agile. Jetroina's champion, Kitsune, wasn't as muscular as Black Mamba, but he was very agile.

They had barely fought for more than a few seconds when Kitsune had landed a swift kick on Black Mamba's head.

Instantly, his head split open and he collapsed to the ground, dead.

The audience began cheering wildly.

Penny started frowning and shaking her head.

Tetsuo looked at Nathan and Tim meaningfully with a smug smile. “Mr. Cross, Tim, what do the two of you think about our new king of the ring?”
