The audience were still simmering in Kitsune's victory.
Apart from some risk-takers who had bet on Black Mamba, most of them had bet on Kitsune.
Most of the audience had won money as a result. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing.
Apart from having won some money, the audience was also overjoyed at the fact that their champion, Kitsune was already twenty-one wins in, and booting fourteen deaths.
Outstanding was an understatement for his performance.
Just as everyone was cheering for Kitsune, a pretty emcee in a kimono walked in, holding a microphone.
Out of respect for Nathan, who had just squandered a hundred million on his subordinate, the emcee said with a bright smile in fluent English, “There has been a last-minute decision for Mr. Cross from Eurasia and our very own Mr. Tetsuo to bet a hundred million on their fighters. Mr. Cross will send his subordinate, Ava, up against our fighter Kitsune.”
The audience who could understand
English were struck dumb.
Those who couldn't were confused.
The emcee explained in Jetroinian once again.
Only then did the rest of the audience understand what was going on.
Mr. Cross from Eurasia wanted to send his female bodyguard against Kitsune, who had twenty-one consecutive wins against all of his opponents.
They were all mocking Nathan for his foolish act.
Amidst the crowd's hollers and laughs, Ava left Nathan and walked onto the boxing ring calmly.
Kitsune had only just beat his opponent and was waving to the audience, before he goes backstage to rest.
He hadn't imagined that anyone would suddenly challenge him, much less someone from Eurasia!
And a woman, too!
Just like many other Jetroinians, Kitsune looked down upon the Eurasians. They always felt like they were weak and that Jetroinians warriors were the strongest and most capable ones on the planet.
Now, suddenly, a Eurasian lady was challenging him. He had also heard that she claimed to be able to defeat him in just one move.
He was raging inside. He glared at Ava menacingly before letting out a chuckle. “You ignorant fools. Your men are such cowards who dare not fight me that you actually sent a lady to battle? I've never been this humiliated before in my life. Don't worry, girl. I won't get rid of you in one move. I'll slowly torture you and rip off your clothes bit by bit until you're lying helplessly in front of me.
I want to show you that Eurasian women are fit for just lying under me!”
