When Nathan and the others were back in Jazona Hotel, the hotel manager was there waiting for them. Unexpectedly, he had assigned two hotel staff to pack their luggage and carry them to the hotel lobby.
“Mr. Cross, I'm sorry, but we can't let you continue staying at our hotel. We've packed your luggage for you. As for the fee you have paid before, we'll give you a full refund. Again, our sincerest apologies for this,” the hotel manager apologized earnestly.
In an instant, Nathan's forehead creased into a frown.
Meanwhile, Penny was dumbfounded.
Colin, Ava, and Tim flipped out at once. D*mn it! How could the hotel manager chase us away!
Wearing a look of sheer grimness, Tim snapped, “How dare you chase Mr. Cross out? You must be asking for trouble!”
Needless to say, the hotel manager was aware of Tim's identity as the head of the War Dragon Chamber. Nevertheless, he was not the slightest bit intimidated because of that. In fact, he uttered placidly, “Mr. Yeaman, don't get me wrong. We don't intend to chase Mr. Cross out of the hotel, but we can’t continue entertaining him any longer. If not, we'll be in deep water!”
Nathan replied calmly, “Well, you should at least give me a reason!”
The hotel manager gulped and explained, “Mr. Cross, we have no choice because you've gotten on the nerves of Mr. Matsuo Yori from the Yori Corporation. Almost everyone in Jetroina knows that they shouldn't dig their own graves by stepping on his toes. If you offended a king, at least everything is bound by law. However, Matsuo gives no hoots to any rules and regulations. So you'll only put yourself on the line by getting on his nerves.
He paused and added resignedly, “Mr. Yori had warned us not to entertain you. If not, we'll spell trouble for our hotel. Thus, we don't dare to entertain you any longer. Apart from that, I bet there isn't any hotel or restaurant in the whole of Jazona that dares to entertain you. Mr. Cross, I'm sorry to say, but you won't be able to stay long in this country.”
Nathan chuckled. “Oh! Is that so?”
After hesitating momentarily, the hotel manager mustered up his courage to advise Nathan, “Mr. Cross, please heed my words. I'm taking the risk to tell you this. Ever since there’s an order from Mr. Yori, there won’t be anyone who dares to entertain you again in Jazona. I foresee that there won't be anywhere else for you to stay and have meals after this. Not to mention, the assassins of the Yori Corporation will surely go after you! In my opinion, you should seek help from the embassy as soon as possible. There might still be a chance for you to survive if they can send you back to Eurasia soon.”
The next moment, he urged Nathan and the others to leave apprehensively.
