Nathan casually flicked the cigarette in his hand.
Whoosh!
The cigarette shot toward Daichi like a bullet.
Daichi's expression changed as he redirected his attack and slashed his sword at the incoming cigarette.
Clang!
When the sword collided with the cigarette, sparks flew as a loud clash reverberated across the venue.
Daichi thought that the force of the cigarette was even greater than that of a bullet. It was so impactful that even his hand trembled as he wielded the sword.
A solemn expression spread across his face.
After waiting for a while, Yasutake still had not felt Daichi s sword striking her. She opened her eyes dazedly.
Daichi could not be bothered about Yasutake anymore. He stared at Nathan intently and remarked in a deep voice, “The cigarette butt that you flicked at me possesses so much power. No wonder our master views you with so much importance that he instructed me to take action personally.”
Only then did Yasutake realize that Nathan had saved her.
When she gazed at Nathan, a look of gratitude crossed her eyes.
However, she was also very shocked. Did a random cigarette that Nathan threw at Daichi save me from his sword?
Nathan's gaze swept across Daichi and the rest as he said indifferently, “I've warned you against provoking me, but it seems like you did not take my warning seriously. If that's the case, be prepared to suffer the brunt of my fury.”
Daichi gestured at his five subordinates. “Attack him together!”
“Understood!”
The Five Phantoms unsheathed their swords and charged at Nathan all at once.
“Be careful!”
When Yasutake saw that scene, she reminded Nathan instantly. Since he had just saved her, she became worried about his safety.
By the time she spoke, the Five Phantoms had already neared Nathan. Five exceedingly sharp swords slashed toward him simultaneously.
While Yasutake watched on worriedly, Nathan lifted his left arm and waved it casually.
It was as if he was merely adjusting his sleeve. The back of his palm brushed against the five swords.
Loud clanging sounds could be heard as he broke the five swords in half.
In utter shock, the Five Phantoms lowered their heads and stared at their broken swords.
Before they could react, Nathan kicked them.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Five Phantoms were sent flying backward. They crashed onto the ground forcefully, unable to get back up onto their feet.
With a single kick, Nathan defeated the Five Phantoms.
Yasutake's worry had already disappeared. Instead, it was replaced by complete surprise.
