Although he had defeated all the guards, Colin continued to advance toward Mateo and Ollie with a murderous look in his eyes.
The bloodlust gleaming in Colin's eyes caused Mateo to shiver in fear.
Ollie waved his phone in the air. With a trembling voice, he warned Colin, “D-Don't come any closer! I've called the authorities. They will be here to send you to jail soon!”
Bam!
Colin unleashed his anger and backhanded Ollie so hard that the latter hurtled into the air.
He then proceeded to pick Mateo up like he weighed nothing. He hauled Mateo over his shoulders and walked over to Penny and Nathan. There, Colin dumped Mateo to the ground in front of their feet.
Thud'.
When Mateo crashed to the ground, he fell into a kneeling position in front of Nathan.
Utterly embarrassed by this entire ordeal, Mateo tried to push himself to his feet.
Before he could do so, Mateo heard Colin's cold voice echo beside his ear. “Don't move. If you stand up, I'll make sure that you lose both of your legs.”
A shiver skittered down Mateo's spine upon hearing Colin's menacing threat. Obediently, he kneeled before Nathan with his head hung low in humiliation.
“Raise your head,” Nathan commanded.
Initially, Mateo intended to ignore Nathan's words. However, he quickly remembered Colin's ferocity and lifted his pale face to meet Nathan's stony gaze.
Nathan's tone was icy. “Are you still planning to act like an insolent brat and humiliate my wife?”
A dark expression loomed across Mateo's face as he stuttered hesitantly, "I-I..."
“Speak up!”
Gritting his teeth, Mateo snarled, “You as*hole! Though I have lost, this isn't the end! Mark my words; I will hold this grudge against you until my very last breath. If we cross paths with each other again, I will make you regret that you were ever born.”
Slap!
The moment Mateo finished speaking, Colin slapped him again.
“What nonsense are you spouting? Mr. Cross isn't even done with you yet. Why are you already thinking about our next encounter?” Colin hissed angrily.
Nathan smirked as he glanced at Mateo’s furious expression. “It seems like we are different. Unlike you, I prefer to wrap things up swiftly.”
