Nathan sat in the chair indicated. Eager to find out something new about Cayden's loyalty, Garrett did not bother beating around the bush this time.
Cayden Quillen's heroic reputation speaks for itself. It would undoubtedly be cruelly ironic if an unsavory detail about him saw the light of day.
Besides, Garrett was the one to have personally recommended Cayden to serve as the Assistant Chief Military Governor despite the latter's inexperience.
I would be held responsible if Cayden is compromised, seeing as how I was the one to have recommended him.
