It wasn't long before Remdik's elders and soldiers had all gathered up.
At first, everyone thought Gammon gathered them up to announce whether they were to join forces with Eurasia.
However, they were told that there was going to be a friendly competition between them and Eurasia's Chief Military Governor. Apparently, they were supposed to test the Chief Military Governor's capabilities before deciding if they wanted to cooperate with Eurasia. When they heard that, everyone widened their eyes in excitement.
Remdikians had always been regarded as capable fighters. Hence, they loved fighting and looked up to heroes.
When Eurasia's Chief Military Governor visited them this time around, he was always wearing a mask and hiding his identity. That didn't go down well with the Remdikians. They felt he was too full of himself.
That was why a lot of them had been waiting for an opportunity to teach Eurasia's Chief Military Governor a lesson. For example, people like Dante.
They were ecstatic when they heard Gammon wanted them to test Chief Military Governor out.
Even people who had no prejudice against Eurasia's Chief Military Governor were eager to have a go at him when they heard Gammon's announcement.
Everyone was curious about Eurasia's Chief Military Governor’s capabilities. Now, we can finally see what he is made of! Let's see if Eurasia's Chief Military Governor is a trusted ally or a total blockhead.
Among them, Dante was the most excited of all. At that moment, he was staring at Nathan with pride in his eyes. I've only thought about teaching you a lesson last night. Who would've known I'd be presented with a chance today ?
With that thought in his mind, he instinctively threw Sofie a glance and saw her looking at Eurasia's Chief Military Governor with interest and anticipation.
Dante was utterly displeased. By then, he was even more motivated to get rid of Nathan.
When Gammon saw how excited his subordinates were, he was rather pleased. He laughed and said, “Since everyone agrees with me, let's proceed to the wargame room now. We shall start with a game of war strategies. Let our elders and commanders-in-chief compete with Chief Cross to see who the better strategists are.”
With that, Gammon smiled at Nathan. “Chief Cross, after you.”
“Please lead the way, Mr. Gammon.” Nathan smiled.
Soon, Nathan, Gammon, and the others arrived at the wargame room.
The wargame room was a place specifically made for people to test out their strategies on the battlefield.
Each side was provided with a simulation command room.
