After going through the game, Nathan was impressed. “What a war simulation game this is! We should make something like this when we get back.”
Right then, Colin, who was aiding Nathan, said, “Chief Military Governor, the system has already downloaded all the maps. We're going to war in a valley. The number of our troops is indicated on the screen. Now, we only have one armored division, but we can get the air troops to assist from behind. Although the number of troops our enemy has isn't shown, we can assume that both sides have similar strengths because we're in balance mode. Since we have a similar number of troops, victory would depend on strategies and commanding skills.”
Having served as the commander-in-chief of the North Army for many years prior to that, a simple simulation of such wasn't going to faze Nathan. After all, he'd gone through countless real-life wars.
Right then, he started giving commands to the game while sitting on a chair.
In the other room, Lazar was also giving out lines and lines of commands in the blue camp.
In the hall, Gammon, Dante, Sofie, and the others were watching the huge screen intently.
Both sides could be seen giving out commands to their respective troops. Scouts, snipers, and drones were seen being set up for the simulated war. Both camps were trying to seek the upper hand on the terrain on the map.
Gammon quickly noticed something different between both camps. Chief Cross is giving out a lot of commands. In fact, it's safe to say he's giving out twice as much as Lazar. That means Chief Cross is thinking things thoroughly. Besides, he's taken into account more situations and in detail. Most of the time, the small details would decide the outcome.
From the beginning, it was obvious to see that Eurasia’s Chief Military Governor was doing better than his counterpart.
Seeing that, Gammon said to himself, “Only experts would be able to tell how powerful that man is. Chief Cross isn't only giving out a lot of commands, but most of the commands are also well-founded. This guy's intelligence is frightening!”
Sofie was right beside him when he said that. She widened her eyes in amazement when she overheard what her father said. It's so seldom to hear him praising another commander.
