Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2559

A few days later, Eurasia and Remdik's collaborative drill was over.

Nathan and Rogan brought their men for a celebratory meal.

That night, Nathan accepted every toast offered to him. Not only did he make Rogan drunk, but he even managed to stay upright while Rogan’s alcoholic subordinates all collapsed.

In the end, Rogan's subordinates had to support Rogan on his way back.

When it was time for them to disperse, Rogan mumbled drunkenly, “Nathan, you're amazing. Not only can I not win against you in a fight, but I can't even win against you in drinking. You've really impressed me.

Nathan chuckled before turning to instruct Rogan's men, “Send Rogan back and make sure he gets a good rest.”

“Yes, sir!”

Soon, the Remdik soldiers left.

Nathan then told his subordinates to head back to rest as well.

Once everyone was gone, Nathan returned to his temporary office.

Sage knocked on the door and entered with a cup of hangover remedy.

Nathan gave him a smile. “You've been working hard too, Sage.”

Sage replied politely, “If it's for the Chief Military Governor, I don’t mind working hard at all.”

Nathan said, “The drill is over, so the Southern Fleet has returned to their headquarters. Zach will still be in charge of them, and it's time for us to go back as well.”

Sage smiled. “Sir, you have had a busy time. Fortunately, the matters have recently been solved, and Ariarica's schemes have failed. You can finally rest for a while and spend time with your family.”

After taking a sip of his drink, Nathan replied, “Yeah. It's been a while since I contacted my family. I do miss them.”

As Nathan spoke, a gentle look appeared in his eyes as he thought about his wife and daughter.

Right then, Colin abruptly rushed into the room, seemingly anxious.
