Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2564

Just as Lorcan was about to end his counting, they could hear the rumble of an aircraft's engine overhead. They even felt that something had landed on the cargo ship and caused the ship to shake a little.

Jemma and Lorcan were perplexed.

Lorcan had forgotten about Penny and Queenie. Instead, he turned around and yelled, “What's going on out there?”

One of his soldiers rushed in and reported, “Captain, a small aircraft flew above our ship earlier on. But it's gone now.

Lorcan exchanged glances with Jemma.

Jemma seemed to be in shock and asked nervously, “Could it be people from Eurasia?”

When Lorcan heard that, he appeared a little nervous as well. However, moments later, he calmed himself and replied, “Eurasia won’t be so quick to react. Let's not scare ourselves. Recently, Eurasia has been having military drills. Although this isn't their usual area, it isn't too far away either. I think the aircraft that flew past just now should be part of the drill. So, let's stay calm, everyone”

Jemma could not help but ask, “Just now, when the aircraft flew past, I felt the ship move a little. Is it possible that something has landed on our ship?”

Lorcan exchanged glances with his subordinates, and they looked uneasy.

That was because they noticed the same sensation as well.

If someone like Jemma could feel it, then something must have landed on their ship when the aircraft flew past earlier.

Lorcan immediately ordered his subordinates, “Search the entire ship. See if the aircraft has dropped anything on our ship.”

However, before they could do anything, they heard the icy voice of a man all of a sudden.

“There will be no need for that. I’m the one who has landed on your ship.”

The soldiers of the Wasp Special Attack Unit raised their sub-machine guns and moved back a little.

A tall figure came in through the door and appeared in front of them. Both Jemma and Lorcan were terrified.

The man was dressed in a military outfit and a phoenix military coat. There was no mask on his handsome face, and they could see his bright, shining eyes.

The man was none other than Nathan.

“Hubby!”

“Papa!”

Both Penny and Queenie could not help but call out for Nathan in excitement when they saw him.

Had it not been for Lorcan and his subordinates blocking their path with their guns, they would have rushed toward Nathan long ago.
