With the exception of one member having been grazed by a bullet, Colin and the Elite Eight were completely unscathed.
With Penny and their daughter in tow, Nathan stopped in his tracks when he passed by Jemma.
He then turned to look at the woman coldly. “Raise your head.”
As though she had fallen into an ice abyss, a shivering Jemma slowly looked up at Nathan. By then, fear had completely taken over her, and anyone could tell that she was on the verge of losing her sanity.
“This is the third time you've fallen into my hand. What do you think is going to happen now?” asked Nathan.
Thud!
Jemma immediately prostrated herself, disregarding the blood that now stained her knees. “I was wrong, Mr. Cross! I've been an idiot. I should have never provoked you, and I certainly should have never hurt your wife and daughter! I'm begging you, Mr. Cross. Please, give me one last chance. I'll never do this again.” “Don't cry in front of me. Your tears are dirtying my shoes,” Nathan replied apathetically. “I gave you two chances in the past, but you didn't appreciate them. Did it ever occur to you that you shouldn't have harmed my wife and daughter? That you should've let them go? No, it never did. All I can say now is that you reap what you sow. If you ever get a chance at life again, don't do anything to hurt anyone or your country again.”
With that, Nathan left with his family.
As soon as they walked out the door, a gunshot sounded from behind.
Colin had pulled the trigger to end Jemma's life.
The cargo ship had come to a stop by the time Nathan, Penny, and Queenie arrived on the deck.
A large number of military speedboats surrounded the ship.
At the same time, there were countless helicopters in the air, including those belonging to special forces.
Numerous special forces members clad in their full uniforms descended from the choppers with ropes and landed on top of the ship.
