Valmora's envoy requested to meet Nathan regarding an urgent matter.
They had also learned that Cross Group's factory in Valmora was about to be attacked at a later time.
Thus, Nathan and Colin took a private flight back to the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor in Brimmopolis without further delay.
A few hours later, he arrived at the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor.
Sage appeared, flanked by soldiers, to
welcome them.
“Greetings, sir!”
“At ease.”
Nathan gave a dismissive wave and strode into the building. “Where is Valmora's envoy? What is the urgent matter about?”
Sage forced a smile. “He is waiting for you in the reception room. It’s urgent because Xyperia wants to attack them yet again.”
It was common knowledge that Xyperia had two enemies.
One was Eurasia, for Xyperians had the Draconem and Proboscidean Complex.
The other was Valmora, who they constantly fought with.
All the while, Xyperia dreamed of defeating Eurasia to signify the descendants of the Elephant could defeat the descendants of the Dragon.
Alas, Eurasia had always reigned over them.
Nathan alone had slain countless Gods of War from Xyperia.
Besides, Nathan had led the North
Army to defeat hundreds of thousands of Xyperian soldiers until they pleaded for mercy.
Recently, Xyperia stopped provoking Eurasia.
The moment Nathan stepped into the reception room, Valmora's envoy, Woste, stood up to welcome him.
Speaking in fluent English, he said excitedly, “The honorable Chief Cross, you're finally here!”
Standing beside Nathan, Sage introduced them both with a smile. “Sir, this is Valmora's envoy, Woste.”
Nathan flashed a smile and shook Woste's hand.
They then took their seats.
Nathan waited until the soldier served him tea and took a sip before saying, “I heard that you're in a hurry to see me, Mr. Woste. What is it about?”
Woste had a woebegone expression on his face as he explained carefully, “Chief Cross, Ariarica sent Max to Valmora to ask us to join their AntiEurasia Alliance. At the same time, Xyperia has stationed three hundred thousand soldiers at the border. They bombed our observation post today and caused many casualties. Our President, Adolf, is at his limit! He sent me here to meet President Woods and you to seek your help.”
Nathan asked, “Have you met our President?”
Woste replied hastily, “Yes, I did. He said I should discuss the matter with you. Sage bent down to whisper in Nathan's ear. “President Woods said that you can call the shots regarding Valmora's matter.”
