Right after Max finished speaking, he turned to get into his car, paying no heed to Gianna.
Dumbfounded, Gianna only came to her senses after Max's car sped off.
She was about to hop into her antique car and catch up with Max's car. However, the latter's four well-built super-soldiers stood in her way, staring at her coldly.
At that moment, realization dawned on her. Evidently, Max was putting her to the test. If she failed to eradicate the four super-soldiers, it would imply that her Lord Antonio was not as competent as mentioned.
An attractive smile broke out on her face as she looked intently at the four super-soldiers. “Haha! You're standing in my way to hinder me from catching up with Admiral Max, aren't you?”
One of the super-soldiers with a crew cut and obviously the leader of the other three scoffed, “You've misunderstood. We're not here to stand in your way but to annihilate you!”
The next second, the four supersoldiers charged at her in unison.
Unperturbed by his words, Gianna dashed forward to fight against them. Soon, an intense fight unfolded.
In the meantime, Max observed how Gianna fought against the four supersoldiers from the rearview mirror of the Lincoln.
“Admiral Max, do you think Gianna is a match for the four super-soldiers?” the driver asked warily as he continued driving.
Max replied indifferently, “I have no idea. Anyway, if Antonio's subordinates can't even defeat my subordinates, it'll imply that he's nothing but worthless trash. If that's the case, there's no point wasting my time to meet him.”
Their car moved forward steadily and reached the next traffic light junction a few minutes later.
The driver looked at the rearview mirror but only noticed the Audis driven by the bodyguards behind them. Gianna's antique car was nowhere to be seen.
