Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2853

Late at night in Newcove, joyful laughter surrounded an ancient and majestic castle that was located deep within a jungle. The castle didn't exist on the map and was secluded.

Under the moonlight, a black bat flew straight into the castle, landed on the ground, and transformed into a young man with blond hair.

A few men in black tailcoats blocked the young man's path.

One of the men in tailcoats warned, “Nicholas, you're not on the list of the guests. State your business here at once.”

“I'm here to see His Grace for an important matter,” said Nicholas coldly.

The guards were stunned by his reply.

The leader of the group hesitatingly said, “Is this urgent? You should know His Grace hates being disturbed when he's hosting a feast.”

“All I can tell you is that if you don't notify His Grace quick enough, you'll have to be the one that takes on his wrath.”

Hearing this, the man's expression changed. After careful consideration, he finally made up his mind. “Hold on. I'll go and inform His Grace about your visit.”

Nicholas waited at the entrance.

A while later, the leader of the guards returned. ”His Grace allows your entry.”

Nicholas sneered and entered.

The hall of the castle was decorated luxuriously and elegantly.

A feast was taking place inside.

Right in the center of the hall was a massive hexagram marked on the ground.

The corpses of seven young women were lying in the center and the six points of the hexagram respectively.

The bodies appeared eerily pale, for they were all bled to death.

Many men and women who were dressed elegantly were standing in the hall.

They behaved gracefully as they stood in groups, chatting with each other while holding wine glasses.

However, the liquid in their wine glasses was blood instead of wine.

All of them were vampire nobles who resided in Newcove, Ariarica. They were all invited to the blood feast held by Vince Hopkins.

In other words, the most prestigious and powerful vampires in Newcove were all present in the castle that night.

At that moment, on the throne in the center of the hall sat a man that appeared to be in his fifties.
