Sylvester was stunned, and he stared at Nathan with a frown. “You there! What did you just say? I didn't quite catch that. Could you repeat it for me?”
Meanwhile, Skeleton King and his gang quietly surrounded Nathan and the others.
Nathan raised his head and looked at Sylvester calmly, then said in an icy voice, “Your ears didn't deceive you. You heard that correctly. I said that you disgust me.”
Enraged, Sylvester let out a bark of angry laughter. “I think you're all in cahoots! Since you have a death wish, I shall send you all to meet your maker together.”
Nathan replied contemptuously, “You don't even know who I am. I think we don't need to arrest you and let you have a trial. We should just shoot you right here, right now.”
Sylvester's face contorted with rage. Raising his voice, he yelled, “Skeleton King!”
Visibly infuriated, he motioned for Skeleton King and his gang to make their move.
Skeleton King raised his gun and pointed it at Nathan.
When Colin and Kraven saw that the thugs were about to attack, they prepared to take action.
However, neither of them expected there would be someone who would react even faster than them.
The person who retaliated was none other than Sevan, who had been sitting next to Nathan and drinking alcohol.
In his eyes, he regarded Nathan as his master.
Nathan treated him well, gave him food and drink, and taught him many different things.
Despite not being the sharpest tool in the shed, Sevan could still sense Nathan's care and warmth.
Besides that, his beast-like ability to sense danger allowed him to identify Skeleton King's malicious intentions toward Nathan at once.
Hence, his fury flared up instantly, and he launched himself forward.
Skeleton King saw a blurry shape whizz past, then realized that Sevan was already right in front of him. It frightened him so much that he hurriedly pulled the trigger.
Crack!
Sevan ripped Skeleton King's arm from his body, then tossed the broken arm with the gun onto the floor.
“Arghhh!”
Skeleton King lost his left arm just like that, and he let out an agonized howl.
However, another crack rang out as Sevan twisted and snapped Skeleton King's neck, cutting the latter's cry off abruptly.
Sylvester's legs turned to jelly. Petrified, he fell to his knees before Nathan with a thud and pleaded in a tearful voice, “Kind sir, I made a mistake. I know I was wrong now. I'm begging you. Please don't kill me. Don't kill me...”
“What's the use of sparing the life of a greedy person like you who'd only bring ruin and calamity upon the entire country? Get ready to die,” Colin roared.
With that, he picked one of the guns off the ground to shoot Sylvester.
Sylvester was so overwhelmed with fear that he wet his pants. He raised his arms and shrieked, “Don't kill me! Don't do it! You're Interpol, so you can't go around killing people!”
A half-smile appeared on Nathan's lips. He chuckled and replied, “I must've killed eight thousand people by now if not ten thousand. I don't need to pick a date to eliminate a menace like you.”
Hearing that, Sylvester was stunned. He gaped at Nathan in disbelief.
I may have fled to Ariarica two years ago, but I still keep up with the news back in Eurasia from time to time.
He stared at Nathan, and his voice suddenly cracked as he choked out, “You... You're Eurasia's Chief Military Governor and president, Nathan Cross!”
Nathan snorted coldly. “Now that you've recognized me, do you think I can kill you?”
A shudder ran through Sylvester's body at those words. His face turned ashen, and there was nothing but despair in his eyes.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I'd cross paths with the president of Eurasia here. I can't believe I'm about to be killed by the head of the country! I've shot myself in the foot!
