Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2918

Observing the despair on Sylvester's face, Nathan did not waste his breath talking to him anymore. Instead, he said to Colin, “Send him on his way.”

Colin was about to pull the trigger when Haskell and Erin quickly stopped him. “Please wait a moment!”

Nathan turned to the pair, looking utterly mystified.

What's the use of sparing the life of a malignant person like him?

“Mr. Cross, this man is a wanted criminal. Even if he has committed a crime, he should be arrested and tried in court before getting punished,” said Haskell.

Erin hurriedly chimed in, “That's right, Mr. Cross. It'd be more appropriate to let the law deal with him.”

Nathan laughed.

“The two of you have a point. In that case, I'll leave it to you to bring him back and hand him over to the court.”

Haskell and Erin saluted in unison. “Yes, sir!”

After saying that, they stepped forward and handcuffed Sylvester.

He did not know whether to rejoice or feel sad.

My life may be safe for the moment, but after I return, what awaits me is a severe sentence and the public's contempt.

After such an incident, there was no way Nathan and the others could remain where they were.

They were preparing to let Haskell and Erin take charge of the scene and handle the aftermath when they heard a snicker and a cold voice ring out from the bar's entrance. “I wasn't expecting a small bar like this to be this lively.”

Nathan furrowed his brows.

Colin and Kraven also sensed danger and immediately became wary.

Everyone watched as a tall and well-built nobleman sauntered in with an exquisite short walking cane.

The man appeared to be in his fifties. However, he had taken great care of his skin so that not only did he look younger, but he also looked very handsome. He also exuded an elegant air.

Niels chuckled and blinked as he continued, “Hey, I was only joking with you. How can one possibly drink fresh blood, right? Just get me some alcohol. I'd like a Bloody Mary.”

Relieved to hear that, the waiter hurriedly replied, “Yes, sir.”

Soon, the waiter brought a Bloody Mary and placed it in front of Niels in a respectful manner.

However, Niels dipped a finger into the pool of blood from a nearby corpse and briefly stirred it in his glass. Then, he shot the waiter a dazzling smile and said, “Now it's a real Bloody Mary.”

With that, he lifted the glass and downed it.

That was enough to make the waiter have a mental breakdown, and he screamed as he scuttled away.

The other staff and customers also fled.

Apart from Nathan, his companions, Haskell, Erin, and the handcuffed Sylvester, the only other people in the bar were Niels' coven of vampires.

Niels put down the glass and wiped the blood stains around his mouth with the back of his hand. Then, he turned to Nathan and sneered, “It's a pleasure to meet you, an elite human warrior from the Far East.”
