Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2960

What?

Cristiano frowned when he heard that. “You shouldn't be messing around with a married woman.”

Sloan smirked. “Uncle Cristiano, you don't understand! A married woman is way more fun than a young girl!”

Cristiano could not help but comment, “Don't forget that you've committed crimes in this country before. Your father spent a fortune to take care of the problem for you and even sent you to study abroad so that you could lie low for a few years. That's how you managed to escape punishment. Now that you're back home, behave yourself, and don't cause any more trouble.”

Sloan's lips twitched into a sneer. “What are you afraid of, Uncle Cristiano? Is there anything that the Zarnowski family is unable to keep hush in Channing?”

Then, he glanced around and asked, “Uncle Cristiano, why did you bring these people to pick me up? Why didn't you bring any of the city officials or other big names?”

“If I could bring such a group of men just to pick you up, I would be the mayor of Channing instead of a mere businessman!” Cristiano retorted angrily.

“Oh, fair point!”

Cristiano was annoyed with his nephew. He climbed into his car and said angrily over his shoulder, “Your father asked me to pick you up. If you're unhappy with your welcome party, you can get home by yourself!”

He instructed some of his men to stay with Sloan, then led the rest of his men away, leaving Sloan behind.

Sloan raised his eyebrows and smirked. “Ah, Uncle Cristiano is still the same, still so easily angered,” he said softly to himself. “Let's go. Get in the car. We'll grab a bite to eat first before heading home.”

Sloan and his entourage of men drove into the city of Channing and stopped by Cloud Palace for dinner.

Sloan had just sauntered into the restaurant with his entourage when he spotted Nathan and Penny seated at a table by the window, enjoying their meal.

His eyes lit up with mischief. He immediately made his way over to their table. “Hello, beautiful. We meet again,” he greeted Penny with a flirtatious smile. “This must be our destiny! Hmm, I wonder if we could finally get to know each other better now?”

“I've already told you that I'm not interested in getting to know you. Please don't make a fool of yourself,” said Penny coldly.

At that moment, Sloan noticed Penny's swollen belly. He was surprised. She's pregnant!

He laughed devilishly.

“Why are you still standing here? This is a final warning. Get out of our sight right now!” Nathan snapped.

Colin and Ava approached them with murderous expressions on their faces.

Sloan's bodyguards rushed angrily toward Nathan.

Colin, Ava, and Sevan stepped forward to meet them.

In the blink of an eye, all of Sloan's bodyguards were on the ground, lying in pools of their own blood.

Nathan walked up to Sloan with an icy expression.

Sloan flinched away from him. He shielded his injured face with his hand and spat out, “Do you know who I am? Don't you dare touch me! You'll be dead once my father gets here!”

Nathan lifted his foot, getting ready to kick Sloan's ribs.

However, he paused when he heard Sloan's threat. Only a man whose family enables such behavior would dare to be so arrogant!

“You make a good point. If a son makes a mistake, it is his parents who have failed in raising him. The correct thing to do would be for your parents to come together with you and beg for my forgiveness,” Nathan said in a steely voice. “Get your father on the phone right now. I'll give him ten minutes to get here. If he doesn't get here in time, it will be you who will be dead.”

Sloan was furious. He was so shocked by Nathan's request that he could no longer feel the pain in his cheek. He pulled out his phone and called home. “Dad, come and save me...”
