It was late at night.
There was no one on the main street in front of Caliburn Church.
Suddenly, a few jeeps without license plates stopped in front of the entrance to the church.
Then, over ten well-trained, mysterious, and burly tall men donning combat uniforms and black masks over their faces climbed out of the vehicles.
Right after that, an exceptionally burly man wearing a clown mask and a pair of black combat shoes climbed out of one of the vehicles as well.
The man with the clown mask was none other than Max.
As he had entered Eurasia discreetly, he had to wear a mask even late at night.
After all, he knew that his identity was a sensitive issue. This time around, he was in Eurasia to capture the Holy Maiden. He could not reveal his identity; otherwise, it would cause severe consequences.
While fixing his gaze at Caliburn Church, he asked his subordinates coldly, “Did you check properly? Is the Holy Maiden, Hepburn, currently staying in the church?”
A beady-eyed subordinate gave a wicked smile. “Don't worry. We've made a thorough investigation. The Holy Maiden is staying here.”
Max nodded. “Get ready for action. Get inside and capture her. Kill whoever you see and make sure no witnesses are alive. One more thing, don't let the Holy Maiden run away.”
The beady-eyed man said, “Don't worry. She won't get away. We've arranged for three hundred agents to infiltrate Eurasia. Our agents have secretly guarded the area surrounding the church and every exit of the roads. The Holy Maiden won't be able to run away.”
“Let's move!” Max said indifferently.
He strode to the entrance of the church, and the beady-eyed man and other subordinates followed him in a hurry.
Bang!
Max kicked open the huge door of the church.
Although the metal door was heavy, they were easily flung across the air. The door crashed to the ground in the middle of the church's main hall.
Polliver was still awake. At that time, he was with a few missionaries. All of them were standing in the main hall and praying to the statue of God when a deafening sound rang out.
Polliver and the others were stunned.
Polliver turned around and looked at the group of mysterious intruders in disbelief. “Who are you? Who told you to come here and create trouble?”
“Where is Hepburn?” Max asked coldly.
Polliver's expression changed. He was not a fool. It dawned on him that it was very likely that the group of men was there to capture the Holy Maiden.
