It was late at night. Eurasia's president, Nathan, was sound asleep.
He had a nightmare.
In his dream, Hanson and his two thousand warriors were being attacked by countless vampires in a foreign country.
They fought with all their might. Needless to say, it was an intense battle.
One by one, the War Gods of Eurasia dropped to the ground, lifeless. In the end, even Hanson was slaughtered by an elite vampire.
The moment Hanson's head was chopped off, Nathan jolted up in bed.
Nathan's forehead was drenched in cold sweat as he looked around and realized he was still in his bed. It dawned on him that it was all just a nightmare, as he noticed it was still dark outside.
“Oh, it was a nightmare. I must've been too worried in the day.”
Nathan stood up and walked over to the table in his pajamas, intending to take a sip of the cold tea.
Suddenly, the door opened with a creak, and a gust of chilly air swept into the bedroom.
Surprise crossed Nathan's face. Before he could figure out what happened, a tall military officer walked into the bedroom.
The tall and handsome man was none other than Hanson.
Nathan gaped incredulously when he saw Hanson in front of him. He blurted out, “Hanson, what are you doing here? I thought you were fighting vampires with the Peacekeeping Forces in another country. When did you come back? Why don't I know about your return?”
Hanson told him, “President Cross, I am here to say goodbye.”
Nathan was confused. “Say goodbye? Why? Where are you going?”
“To the nether world,” came Hanson's reply.
Nathan gasped in shock. “What?”
“The two thousand warriors under my lead died after we got attacked by the vampire. Our comrades suffered a terrible demise, yet their spirits still linger in the ancient ruins of Musbane. If you ever have the chance to visit this sacred place, you will feel the howling winds. Know that our fallen comrades are there to greet you.”
With that, he retreated step by step.
Nathan's expression fell as he cried out, “Wait, don't leave! I don't understand. I have questions for you.”
