Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3217

Nathan saved the woman!

Colin and Sevan had knowing looks on their faces. They understood Nathan well, so they knew he couldn't stand by and watch their country's warriors die.

Initially, Monica was disappointed and disgusted by these War Gods who remained motionless after seeing someone in grave danger.

She didn't expect that Commander Cross of the alliance would rescue the woman's life at this crucial moment.

Monica was stunned momentarily.

His reaction is so vastly different from the bunch of cold and cruel leaders that I remember.

Flickers of emotions flashed across her eyes as she stared at Nathan.

Monica's gaze changed from disdain to admiration.

Wolfric, on the other hand, was frustrated by Nathan's action. He scolded, “What the h*ll are you doing, Nathan?”

Right then, the bondslave below the canyon spotted the men on top of the canyon.

Burning with anger, they sprang into action and charged toward the alliance.

“There's people standing on top of the canyon!”

“Let's head up and end them!”

“Attack!”

The bondslaves at the scene fumed as they swiftly headed up the canyon.

Nathan reacted immediately, swooping down from the top of the canyon while Colin and Sevan followed suit without hesitation.

Monica stated clearly, “Count me in!”

Initially, Peder was reluctant to join in, but he changed his mind rapidly when Monica jumped into action. He rushed toward the battleground too.

With Peder leading the way, a few of his companions immediately engaged in the fight alongside him.

Upon seeing that, Wolfric grumbled at the other team members. “What are you guys standing there for? Attack them too. Kill these d*mn bondslaves. Don't let any of them escape!”

“Charge!” The rest of the team members regained their senses. They followed Nathan's footsteps, swooping down to end the bondslaves.

These poor bondslaves didn't know what was coming for them, not knowing the people engaged in the current battle with them were terrifying human elites!

The female warrior who was still kneeling on the floor had her eyes widened, her mouth agape as she stared in astonishment at the scene unfolding before her.

Disbelief overwhelmed her. Where did these human elites come from? I can't believe this is real! Is this a sign that my imagination had run wild before my death?

As Nathan and his men were in standard alliance warrior uniforms and had warrior masks on their faces, the female Eurasian warrior before them couldn't recognize any of them.

She could only stared at them blankly.

Nathan stepped forward in his black military boots and asked her, “Are you from Eurasia?”

Her face was still streaked by tears, and her mind was still shocked and confused by the event, the female warrior jolted back to her sense and answered instinctively, “Yes!”

“Are you still an active military personnel, or have you already retired?” Nathan's voice was authoritative, like a military chief, making it hard for others not to answer him.

The female warrior flashed back to a time in the past when her military chief questioned her. She answered instinctively, “Reporting in! My name is Blossom Helsing. I've been a serviceman for two years and retired now.”

“Why are you here?”

Blossom bit her lips. “I came from a low-income family, and my mom is sick. I need money to pay her medical bills. I heard the blood virus had gone viral in Adrune, and vampires were everywhere. In response, the Curia and many countries called for bounty hunters to hunt down these blood-sucking creatures.”

“And so, I found a way to travel abroad and join the team of bounty hunters. We have only succeeded twice in our missions and got our reward. But this time, the vampires ambushed and killed most of us!”
