Wolfric and the others were soon sent to a majestic residence.
That place was originally the residence of Kushburn's mayor. After the city was taken over, it turned into Max's residence.
Since it was a prince's residence, the place was even more heavily guarded.
Wolfric and the others were brought to one of the courtyards.
A vampire baron leading a group of vampire warriors ordered Wolfric and the others coldly, “Remove all your clothing. Men will stand on the left, while women on the right.”
Standing by the side were a few human servants. They brought things like water guns.
It turned out they were going to wash the newly captured human slaves clean before sending them to the head of butlers. After that, the latter would decide which were to be slaves and which would be killed for blood.
The color drained from the good-looking men's and women's faces. They looked terrified not because they were ashamed to remove their clothes, but because their fate was uncertain.
Only Wolfric and his team were unfazed.
Since Nathan was not around, Peder, Monica, and the others naturally turned to look at the deputy commander, Wolfric.
They were communicating using their gazes to find out if it was time to attack.
Sensing it was almost time to attack, Wolfric nodded slightly, hinting at them to get ready. The moment they attacked, they needed to control the scene as quickly as possible to prevent alerting the other vampires in the courtyard.
Noting his gesture, the others scanned their surroundings and secretly came up with plans such as who to attack once they got into action.
When the vampire baron noticed the crowd was hesitant to remove their clothes, his expression darkened, and his gaze turned murderous.
“You d*mned bipedal lambs. Did you guys not hear what I said? From now on, anyone who disregards my words will die first,” the vampire baron threatened.
With that, he pointed at Wolfric and ordered, “You. Take it off.”
Immediately, Wolfric snapped out of his cowardly character and straightened his body. Narrowing his eyes, he uttered with a smirk, “B*stard, what did you say?”
What?
A jolt of shock passed over the vampire baron's face.
Even the vampire warriors were dumbfounded.
The human slaves working for the vampires too were stunned.
That man actually went against the vampire's orders in public? He must be tired of living!
The vampire baron let out a sardonic laugh and ordered a vampire warrior beside him, “Since this one's got a death wish, let's give him what he wants. Let's show the other bipedal lambs what the consequences of disobeying my orders are.”
