Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3236

Wolfric glanced at his team of twenty members and instructed, “The five of you will stay here and keep watch. Make sure no one finds the bodies here, and don't let these people scream. Otherwise, we'll be exposed.”

The five chosen members answered in unison, “Got it!”

Wolfric then turned to the remaining fifteen people and said, “The rest will follow me to Max's office and capture him.”

The majority of them nodded in acknowledgment, while Colin and Sevan disagreed.

Colin voiced, “Admiral Welz, Captain Cross isn't here yet. I think we should wait for him before making a move.”

Sevan agreed, “Yes. I need to wait for my master.”

However, Wolfric scoffed, “Who knows how long it'll take for him to arrive? I don't have time to wait for him. The window of opportunity will close soon. You two can stay here if you want to wait for him while the rest can follow me.”

Ever since Wolfric joined the alliance, he had always been in Nathan's shadow. Now that they had a chance to ambush Nathan, the former could not wait to take the credit.

The fact that Nathan was not around was exactly what Wolfric wanted. Naturally, he would not want to wait for the former.

With that, he led thirteen elite fighters to Max's office, silently killing any vampires along the way.

Colin and Sevan grew worried.

Thankfully, they did not have to wait long for Nathan to arrive.

Confused, he asked, “Why are there only you guys left? Where's Wolfric and the others?”

Colin answered, “They didn't want to wait, so they made a move first.”

A wave of fury washed over Nathan. “Fools! Max is a powerful person. Come on. Let's go there now. I'm afraid they might make a mistake.”

“Yes, Sir!” Colin and Sevan answered in unison.

Max's office was brightly lit.

In there were two hulking figures, each seated on a bench.

With that, he stepped out of the office.

As soon as he exited the room, he slowly retreated under Lambert's and Gerart's confused gazes.

Before they could even ask what Stevon was doing, they spotted a mithril gun pointed at Stevon's forehead.

It was Wolfric.

Wolfric was pointing the mithril gun at Stevon, forcing the latter to step back into the room.

Behind Wolfric were more than ten human elites.

Wolfric was still pointing the gun at Stevon's head as he stepped into the office.

After scanning the room and realizing there were only Lambert and Gerart, Wolfric frowned. There were no signs of Max. “Where's Max?” Wolfric growled.
