Regardless, Macauley did not take Nathan too seriously. After all, Herod was the strongest in the world, and he was second only to his master. There was no reason for Macauley to be afraid of Nathan. Nathan frowned slightly. It seemed Wolfric's previous defeat made the vampires gain confidence.
