Dido was also very excited.
As the sun set that day, Dido seemed like a wanderer walking in the dark, with faint hopes of reclaiming her kingdom. At the height of her despair, she finally saw the light.
She then repeatedly said to Nathan, “Thank you, Mr. Cross. Thank you.”
With the backing of Nathan, the leader of the Dragon of the East, and the support of thirty thousand soldiers who would help regain her country, Dido was filled with confidence and pride.
Nathan said, “If we're to reclaim the kingdom, then we can't afford to sit idle anymore. Everyone, let's join in together to wipe out the battlefield!”
He then added, “Dido, I want you to raise your royal flag of Wallera and call upon the former citizens to return and rebuild their homeland. Furthermore, you should also state that if other refugees come to participate in rebuilding the homeland, they too, can automatically become citizens of Wallera.”
Dido quickly replied, “Yes!”
Nathan then continued, “Give me a list of the talents and resources you need, and I'll do my best to accommodate your requests.”
Dido's eyes lit up. Fill with excitement, she replied, “Yes, Mr. Cross.”
Dido had long yearned for the reclamation of her homeland.
After receiving steadfast support from Nathan, she immediately led an army of thirty thousand troops and returned to the original territory of Wallera. She publicly declared her identity, calling on the former citizens to return and rebuild their homeland. She had also expressed her willingness to shelter refugees, inviting them to participate in rebuilding the country, and promising them the chance to become citizens of Wallera in the future.
Nathan also wholeheartedly supported Dido by publicly stating that Eurasia would assist in the rebuilding of Wallera, and acknowledged Dido as the leader of Wallera internationally.
Moreover, Nathan personally dug into his own pockets, selling off ten percent of Cross Group's shares, and liquidating a hundred billion, all of which was used to aid Dido in restoring her country.
In an instant, the whole world was shocked.
Some Adrunians even pointed out that Nathan was using his own wealth to build a private country of his own in Adrune.
There were even some ill-intentioned people who went as far as to slander Nathan, claiming that the entire nation of Wallera belonged to him. They even said that Dido, who had just ascended to the throne as the queen of Wallera, was already Nathan's woman.
Nevertheless, despite the ill-natured individuals who attempted to discredit Nathan in the international community, his outstanding performance in battling the vampires, including his remarkable achievement in slaying the Patriarch, Herod, and several King-Class vampires, as well as his noble act in helping to restore countries that had been annihilated, had won him praises from a majority of countries worldwide.
While Dido was rebuilding the nation in an orderly manner, Nathan kept himself busy as well.
He, along with Wolfric and Leopold, continued to lead the alliance, eradicating the remnants of the vampires, determined to completely drive them out of human society.
