Nathan turned to Hepburn and ordered, “Send them to the nearby detention camp. They require supervision and treatment until they turn back into normal humans again. After that, plan for their reintegration into society.”
The alliance had gained significant experience dealing with captive bondslaves since the start of its war with the vampires.
Whenever the alliance arrived at a location, they would immediately establish a detention camp to accommodate those bondslaves who had surrendered or been captured. Then, the logistics team and medical volunteers would come to take over.
The bondslaves in the detention camp had to undergo a health examination and serum injections until they successfully transformed back into humans. Only then were they prepared for reintegration into society.
Upon receiving Nathan's orders, Hepburn immediately turned around and instructed a group of Curia's warriors to escort those bondslaves to the nearest detention camp, Hive.
Immediately afterward, Nathan led his team toward another stronghold of the remaining vampires.
That evening, Nathan and his team returned triumphantly after successfully eliminating another vampire stronghold.
On their way back, they happened to pass by Hive.
What made Nathan frown was that as they passed by Hive, they could hear sporadic gunshots from inside as well as faint screams and cries.
Nathan, sitting in the command vehicle, immediately frowned and said to Colin, “Stop the car now!”
Soon, the command vehicle came to a halt.
One after another, the vehicles in the convoy behind also came to a stop.
Nathan pushed open the car door and stepped out of the command vehicle. Looking at the detention camp before him, he asked coldly, “What's the name of this detention camp, and which country's troops are in charge?”
Hepburn, who had also exited the vehicle, replied, “Admiral Welz and his troops are battling nearby to exterminate the remaining vampires in this region. This detention camp is named Hive, and it's under his troops' responsibility.”
Hearing that, Nathan questioned, “I've said it before. We must not mistreat captives. Why am I hearing cries and gunshots coming from this camp?”
However, Hepburn could not give Nathan an answer to his question.
Just then, the person in charge of watching over the detention camp was alarmed by the Curia's forces stopping in front of the camp.
The gates of the detention camp swung open.
A burly colonel with a bushy beard hurriedly emerged, leading a large group of subordinates.
