Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3385

The private jet, Firedrake One, slowly descended at the airport of Brimmopolis.

Zion, leading the Cabinet and other key members of the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor, warmly welcomed the return of Nathan.

Penny and her family, of course, were also among the welcoming procession.

Penny, dressed in a white dress, was eagerly awaiting. Her daughter, Queenie, shared the same enthusiastic expression.

Likewise, Leah, who was holding a baby next to her, along with Benson and Kylie.

The private jet came to a steady halt.

Subsequently, Nathan's upright figure then came into everyone's view.

He, Colin, and the others were seen disembarking from the private jet.

“Welcome home, President Cross. We welcome your triumphant return!” the warriors at the scene shouted in unison.

Penny could no longer hold back her emotions upon seeing her long-absent husband. She quickly walked up to him and threw herself into his arms.

Nathan held his wife in his arms, his face full of tenderness. He looked at her carefully and said softly, “Penny, you've lost weight. While I was away, you delivered a baby and even led Cross Group in developing the serum. It must have been tiring for you.”

Penny felt a sweetness in her heart and said, “It's not hard at all!”

The surrounding journalists and the cameras continuously clicked away, capturing every moment.

Penny finally realized they were being photographed after throwing herself into Nathan's arms. Her pretty face couldn't help but turn crimson at her losing control of her emotions. She quickly left Nathan's embrace and said to him, “Our son is already a month old, and he hasn't seen his father yet!”

At that moment, Leah promptly brought over her grandson.

Nathan looked down at the baby. Although the baby was still a month old, Nathan could discern the baby's resemblance to him and Penny. He was sure the baby would grow up to be a handsome young man.

With a cheerful grin, he gently pinched the baby's cheek. “Hehe, not bad. Not bad at all. He looks a bit like me.”

The baby was initially sleeping, but Nathan pinching his cheek irritated him, so he began to weep loudly. His cries were particularly resonant and strong.

Nathan chuckled. “Haha! That's quite a temper you have there. Just like me when I was younger.”

Upon hearing this, everyone around them burst into laughter.
