John realized Kylie didn't have a thing for him. Hence, he made up some random excuses and left as soon as possible because he felt rather embarrassed.
Once John departed, the only people left behind were Nathan and his family.
Suddenly, Penny whispered and asked Nathan because she realized he was thinking of something, "What's wrong, Nathan?"
When Nathan heard Penny's voice, he returned to his senses and replied with a smile as always, "It's nothing... It's almost All Saint's Day, right?"
As Penny was confused, she asked once again, "All Saint's Day is celebrated in honor of all the saints, known and unknown. Does that mean we're going somewhere to pay tribute to someone?”
Nathan nodded and explained, "Since it's going to be a long weekend, I wish to drop by Tiverton Mountain to pay tribute to my mother."
Kylie's eyes widened when she heard Nathan's words, "Where is Tiverton Mountain? Does that mean you're going to be away over the weekend?"
All of a sudden, Nathan explained calmly with a sorrowful look on his face, "It's nearby Sunnydale which is a small town on the outskirt of Horton. There's a place called Tiverton Mountain and that's her grave is."
Suddenly, Penny held their daughter in her arms and reached over to hold Nathan's hand firmly. She suggested gently, "Nathan, Queenie, and I will join you!"
Without any hesitation, Nathan nodded and asserted, "Sure. I'm sure she will be glad if she knows how exceptional her daughter-in-law and how adorable her granddaughter is!"
The moment Penny heard Nathan's words, she blushed as she was shy.
In the meantime, Queenie clapped her chubby hands.
Benson and Leah were delighted because their daughter and son-in-law's relationship had improved drastically.
Suddenly, Kylie suggested, "Can I tag along with you during your trip to Tiverton Mountain?"
Everyone turned around and looked at Kylie with an odd expression on their faces as they were shocked.
Nathan is going to pay tribute to his late mother with his wife and daughter. What exactly does she want to there?
Kylie felt as though she was sitting on pins and needles because everyone had their eyes glued to her. She tried to explain herself immediately, "Since you guys aren't around over the weekend, I'll be bored. If that's the case, I might as well tag along and keep myself entertained. After all, I'm not an outsider, right?"
Everyone broke into laughter when they heard Kylie's words.
“Well, feel free to tag along. However, let me make it clear. We're not there for a trip. Instead, we're there to pay tribute to Nathan's late mother," Penny warned and gave in to Kylie's request in the end.
"Okay!" Kylie nodded immediately.
