They climbed up Tiverton Mountain, but Nathan's mother's grave was nowhere to be found.
Nathan was shocked and ordered Colin to find out what went wrong immediately.
Soon, Colin figured out the reason behind the disappearance of Nathan's mother's grave. He told Nathan, "Master, I have gotten in touch with the country head of Sunnydale and found the reason behind it. Those from the Cross Family claimed Tiverton Mountain to be their asset and had decided to move her grave away because they didn't consider her as part of the Cross Family.”
"Those from the Cross Family must have had a death wish! Where the heck is my mother's grave now?" Nathan yelled furiously and asked.
"According to the county head, it has been moved over to the nearby cemetery,” Colin replied.
The nearby cemetery was packed with all sorts of miniature tombstones.
There were barren weeds everywhere. It looked like an abandoned cemetery.
Nathan got down on his knees in front of his mother's grave and sniffled, "Mom, I have brought my wife and daughter here to visit you."
Penny, Kylie, and Queenie got down on their knees in front of the grave together.
Nathan spent the entire afternoon in front of his late mother's grave. For once, he wept as though he was an abandoned child.
However, a man yelled and broke the silence when Nathan and his gang were immersed in sorrow.
"Oh? Isn't this Nathan? You're the outcast of the Cross Family? How dare you make your way back here? Tsk! Tsk! Look at how pathetic you are! You're behaving like an abandoned puppy. Hahaha!"
When they heard the despicable voice, they turned around and noticed the presence of a bunch of ruthless men.
The man that broke the silence was a middle-aged man with a typical French mustache. He had a bunch of fierce-looking subordinates behind him.
He was none other than Nathan's uncle, Zachary Cross.
Once Zachary heard that someone was searching for Nathan's mother's grave, he knew it must have been Nathan. Hence, he rushed over with his subordinates.
Nathan cast a stern gaze at Zachary. "Great! I don't have to waste my time searching for you. Tell me! Who was the one that moved my mother's grave here from Tiverton Mountain?"
"Ha! It's none other than Helen! She was the one who had instructed me to move her grave here!" Zachary replied scornfully.
