Among the crowd, other than a small number of people who knew Nathan's identity, the rest simply looked at him mockingly.
Suddenly, a few servants scrambled into the room and called out in panic, "Sir, Sir..."
Frowning, Kenny scowled, "What's going on? Why are all of you in panic?"
The servants reported in a trembling voice, "Sir, waves upon waves of soldiers are gathering outside..."
Kenny was stunned. "What?"
When the crowd heard that a large group of soldiers had arrived, they were not only calm, but were also filled with anticipation.
Xander, who was especially ecstatic, declared, "Haha, Mr. Wates, didn't you say that the General would personally attend your son's wedding? If I'm not wrong, I think he has arrived."
When the crowd heard Xander, they echoed his words in excitement. Who else would have the ability to command such a large group of soldiers?
Xander then sneered at Nathan, "Haha, the General is about to arrive. You will soon be exposed, you impostor! You're finished now!"
The surrounding bystanders laughed at Nathan in a mocking manner as they expected him to be humiliated soon.
In Xander's eyes, Nathan was stupid to have masqueraded as the General. Now that the real deal was here, there was no place for Nathan to hide.
After a brief moment, a burly man in a Major General's uniform entered with a large battalion of soldiers behind him.
When Xander and the others saw the Major General, they were stunned because he was the Commander-in-chief of the Cledondale military district, Darius Clooney.
Xander and the other guests quickly greeted Darius. At the same time, they asked him out of curiosity, "General Clooney, may I know if the General of the North is here with you?"
Darius glared at Xander annoyingly. "What are you talking about? Hasn't the General arrived a long time ago?”
"Besides, Xander, why are all your men outside? If you plan to cause any trouble to the General, that will be the end of you."
