Chapter Fifty-One: Takeout
Ryan stood at one of the tables just past the kitchen, unloading several brown paper take-out bags.
I hadn’t noticed the open dining area just past the kitchen earlier with the shock of such a nice kitchen. Now that I fully saw the room, I looked over the pale, long wooden tables that lined the floor space in neat even rows. Chairs were pushed beneath them.
They reminded me of chairs that I would see in someone’s family home, just so many more. It looked like it could easily seat about seventy people, if not more. Behind that, the wall was lined with big French doors that led outside. I could see the wolf that I had met earlier, Mira, on the lawn trotting off into the dense grouping of trees at the back of the yard.
Ryan looked up from the bags, a smile flashing over his full lips. He pushed his wild, dark curling hair back from his face. “Baby girl, I wasn’t sure what you would like so I grabbed a few different things.”
Jason and I walked over to Ryan. The smell of fried rice, ginger, and garlic hit my nose, making my mouth water. I hadn’t realized how hungry I was, but now that I could smell the food, it was all I could think about. My stomach growled loudly and I looked between both men, my cheeks heating up as Ryan’s smile widened and Jason bit his lower lip, fighting back a laugh.
“Come on, kitten. Let’s feed you.” Jason tugged my hand, leading me over to Ryan.
The lights were turned on, filling the room and chasing away all of the shadows. Now that I could see them both clearly, I couldn’t help but be nervous. They both looked so well put together, not a hair out of place. Neither man looked like they had fucked me like they hated me and then seen to my needs afterwards. I had never been with anyone like either of these men and now that I knew they could see me with my makeup smeared and my hair a mess, I longed for a shower.
Ryan pulled out the chair at the head of the table and Jason let my hand go. I slipped into the chair, watching Ryan as he sat out the various white and red takeout boxes. He had sat out three plates and silverware with it.
“I’ll get drinks.” Jason said, looking down at me. “Is beer good for you, or would you prefer wine?”
“Um, water is fine, thanks. I don’t think I need any more alcohol tonight.” I hadn’t had enough to get really drunk, but I didn’t trust myself to drink more. At least not unless I wanted to wake up hungover in the morning.
Jason nodded before walking towards the kitchen and I turned back to look at Ryan. “It smells good. I think you got too much, though.”
“Nah, we’ll finish this easily. Shifters, we eat more than humans. You need to eat plenty, too.” He said, winking at me. “Mating with us burns a lot of calories and you’ll need them to keep up.”
His look made me squirm in my seat, my nipples tightening and chafing against the cotton of my t-shirt. I had never had anyone look at me the way that he did. Like he wanted to devour me whole, but at the same time take care of any need that I could have. Spoken and unspoken, I knew that he would be there. Ready to catch me if I started to fall.
His pupils grew dark and I watched his nostrils flare before he closed his eyes, shaking his head.
“I guess I’ll have to work on my stamina then.” I said, trying to sound strong but my voice came out breathy and needy.
“Baby girl.” Ryan groaned, opening his eyes. They had gone from his normal shade of blue to a dark, deep shade that made a shiver rise up my spine. “We can work on your stamina anytime you want.”
My breath hitched and my heart beat faster as his tongue swiped over his lower lip before he sucked it between his teeth.
Jason sat a bottle of water in front of me. He sat two dark bottles of beer onto the table before his hand moved to my shoulder “Food first, then you can fuck the rest of the night if you want.” His tone was firm and commanding and it made my body tingie.
“He’s right, baby girl. I can’t have you passing out on us later.” Ryan smirked, sitting down beside me.
I looked up at Ryan and he squeezed my shoulder before moving to sit down beside me and across from Ryan. “Thanks for dinner, man It looks good”
“No problem I figured you might be busy and this would be easier.” Ryan said, picking up one of the takeout containers and opening up. He grabbed a spoon and scooped a large portion of fried rice onto his plate before looking at me “Want some?”
Imadded, holding out my hard and his lips tilted into a frown He pushed my hand away before scooping out some of the nioe onto
my plate. Jason picked up one of the containers flipped the lid open and the smell of beef broccoli wafted over to me. The mix of the veggies and meat with the garlic smelled so good. He picked up the fork beside his plate, stabbing a piece of meat before offering it to me.
“I can feed myself.” I said, pressing my lips together.
“I know, but it makes us happy. Our wolves want to take care of you, kitten.” He lifted an eyebrow, holding out the fork and I leaned forward. Letting him feed me. His face lit up and Ryan let out a groan.
I brought my hand up, covering my mouth as I looked between both men. “We are never going to finish eating if you two keep it up.”
