I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms.

"Of course, Gina" I said.

"It's Luna to you, you little brat. Got it?"

I took a deep breath "Yes Luna"

As I turned away, I could hear Gina's laughter. Back in the kitchen, I started over. My hands were shaking, and I could feel the hot tears streaming down my face.

I tried to focus on the task, but I was filled with pain and anger. I made the eggs again, praying that this time they would be acceptable. When I returned to the dining hall, I placed the new plate of eggs in front of Gina.

She didn’t even bother to look at them before throwing them across the room.

“These are terrible! Can’t you do anything right?” she snapped.

I took in a deep breath, wondering what bad deed I must have done for the moon goddess to punish me like this.

"I'm waiting!" Gina screeched.

I turned back to the kitchen, feeling utterly defeated. I made the eggs one more time, putting all my effort into getting them just right.

My heart was heavy, and I felt like I was on the verge of breaking. When I finished, I took a deep breath and carried the plate back to the dining hall. I placed the plate in front of Gina, my hands shaking. She picked up her fork and took a bite.

For a moment, there was silence.Then, she nodded. "This is good" she said.

I sighed in relief. "Thank goodness" I muttered.
