After hiding the prescription, Tania stood and walked out as if nothing had happened.
The butler looked toward Liam. Liam asked him, “Is Sonny here too?”
“I didn’t see Mr. Sonny.”
Liam made a disappointed sound. Then, he took a newspaper and opened it up to read it. He said, “If Sonny isn’t here, I don’t have to welcome my son outside since I’m the father.”
The butler could not resist laughing.
Sonny was a favorite among the older ones here.
It was mainly because there were no children in Wildridge Manor. Whenever Sonny followed his aunt to the manor, he would become popular. Everyone would be fighting to take care of him.
Additionally, the child was sensible and a smooth-talker.
Naturally, people like Liam, who were waiting to have grandchildren and entering their senior years, adored Sonny.
As soon as Tania walked out of the house, she saw her son and daughter-in-law walking over hand in hand. Her son was holding a few bags in his other hand. She knew the bags had gifts Serenity had bought for her and her husband.
Serenity never visited her in-laws empty-handed.
She knew her in-laws had everything but buying something for her in-laws as their daughter-in-law had a profound significance.
“Mom.”
