When Serenity woke up, it was already early morning the next day.

She opened her eyes and saw herself lying in bed, feeling a bit confused. Was she not in the car?

How long did she sleep?

She turned her head and saw the man sleeping beside her. She shifted her body and quietly watched Zachary.

As she watched, she could not help but reach out and touch his face.

This man of great eminence was hers!

Such thoughts made Serenity feel a sweet sensation in her heart.

She intended to lean in and kiss his face. It was right then that Zachary opened his eyes. Seeing her getting closer, he guessed what she wanted to do, so he closed his eyes again.

Serenity chuckled softly. “You’re awake.”

“I’m not awake, I’m still dreaming. I dreamt that my wife wanted to kiss me, so I’ll wait for her to finish kissing, and then I’ll wake up.”

Serenity burst into laughter.

“You’re talking now yet you say you’re not awake.”

“I was sleep-talking.”

As an old married couple, kissing was their favorite daily activity.

Serenity was not shy either. She rolled over and pressed herself on top of him, leaning down to kiss his lips. Zachary pressed her head with one hand, wanting to deepen the kiss, but she moved her lips away and planted several gentle kisses on his face.

“You can wake up now.”
