Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2229

“I haven’t met Dr. Carden. I happened to be on a business trip when she came. Callum had just brought me back. We’re at his house and about to meet Dr. Carden soon.”

Trenton was still worried about her and this made Camryn happy.

“No matter the result, don’t give up. If Dr. Carden can’t do anything, we can look for a better doctor,” Trenton reassured her.

Everyone knew that Camryn would not be able to regain her sight if even Dr. Carden could not treat her eyes.

Dr. Carden was the miracle healer’s disciple and he was legendary because his skills were undoubtedly the best.

After a moment of silence, Camryn consoled her brother in return, “I won’t be sad, Trenton. I can accept any result. I’ve gotten used to living in darkness after so many years. It’s just a pity that Callum has to marry me, a blind person, despite being such an outstanding person himself.”

“Camryn.”

Callum said, “I don’t feel aggrieved at all. Since the day I fell in love with you, I’ve decided to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you regardless of whether your eyes can be treated. It’s great if you can regain your sight. However, if it doesn’t work, I’ll be your eyes.”

Trenton spoke through the phone, “Camryn, I believe Callum’s a responsible person. Don’t overthink. We know what the York family’s people are like. You should believe in yourself and Callum.”

Camryn was touched. She bit her lip to stop herself from crying. After a short silence, she said, “I know. Are you doing well in school, Trenton? Do you have enough money? Does the cafeteria’s food suit your tastes? If it doesn’t, you can eat outside of school. Let me know if you run out of money.”

“I have money. Don’t you deposit money into my account regularly? I have some money of my own too. It’s enough. I even got a part-time job, but it wasn’t because I lacked money. I simply wanted to experience life and accumulate some work experience.

“The food at the cafeteria tastes pretty good. There’s a huge variety. You don’t have to worry about me. You can rest assured and go get your eyes treated.”

Trenton was sent to a boarding school by his parents when he was still in elementary school. He lived and had all his meals in school, so he was not picky.

“That’s good.”
